About this role
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Core Engineering Team, which powers some of the most essential experiences at Scribe: viewing and editing Scribe documents, embedding and exporting content, and supporting key integrations. Millions of users rely on these workflows every day.
In this role, you'll take ownership of impactful projects, collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering, and deliver polished user experiences in React. You'll focus on usability, performance, and accessibility-helping define how people everywhere interact with the core of our product.
What you'll do
  • Build intuitive, performant, and accessible user interfaces in React for core viewing and editing
  • Collaborate with design and product to scope, build, and launch features that solve real user problems
  • Own projects end-to-end, from technical design through launch and iteration
  • Partner with backend engineers to define APIs and data flows for a seamless frontend experience
  • Contribute to maintainable, reliable code through thoughtful patterns, testing, and documentation
  • Continuously improve the user experience with a focus on quality and detail

Compensation
We benchmark compensation using trusted market data and apply a tiered geographic framework to ensure competitive pay across locations. The ranges below represent the base salary band for this role by tier. Final offers are determined by experience, scope, internal parity, and location.
$195-$215k base + equity
