Prime Core Counseling Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on a wide array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and resources, during initial intakes and ongoing sessions.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing effective modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Develop and manage personalized treatment plans, involving goal-setting and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure seamless, coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a clientโ€™s well-being.
  • Offer crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning when necessary, ensuring immediate support for clients in acute distress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding therapy sessions and treatment progress, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes, enhancing clients' insight and coping skills in a supportive group environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. We serve a multicultural community in Chicago, which enriches the therapeutic process through varied perspectives and experiences. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is required.
