Position Overview

Cora Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team within our outpatient clinic located in Falls Church, Virginia. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to improve patients' mobility and overall quality of life. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing tailored rehabilitation plans, deploying evidence-based treatments, and giving patients the support they need to achieve their specific rehabilitation goals.

Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite in a modern and vibrant rehabilitation facility where teamwork and patient-centric care thrive. Our outpatient clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with options for varied working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will be surrounded by a collaborative team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and assistants, all working towards common goals for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop comprehensive, effective treatment plans.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in clients.
  • Monitor patient progress, continuously assessing the effectiveness of treatment and adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention and wellness strategies while encouraging active participation in their treatment process.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure effective communication and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, offering motivation and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and improve outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve an outpatient clientele, including athletes and individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries or surgeries. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing specific functional limitations and helping patients regain independence. This role requires you to develop personalized wellness programs that reflect the unique goals and conditions of each patient.

Qualifications
  • Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia without any sanctions or disciplinary actions.
  • Exhibit advanced knowledge and application of various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities.
  • Display strong abilities in creating personalized exercise programs that yield tangible improvements in patient outcomes.
  • Proficient in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
  • Stay well-informed on current best practices and evidence-based interventions in physical therapy.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in outpatient settings, preferably within sports medicine or rehabilitation, where they have demonstrated success in managing diverse patient populations. Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
