Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work in an onsite, outpatient clinic setting, operating from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized, patient-centered care by creating tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each patient.
  • Maintain an appropriate patient load to provide focused attention and quality treatment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing a broad range of techniques and evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Implement cost-effective treatment approaches that minimize the need for surgical interventions and reliance on medications.
  • Develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans, including strength training, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy, to facilitate recovery.
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, emphasizing active participation in their rehabilitation process.
  • Continuously assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain precise documentation utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to ensure accurate tracking of patient treatment history.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with innovative physical therapy methodologies and research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse outpatient population, ranging from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to individuals with chronic pain or post-surgical rehabilitation needs. You will work with patients at various stages of recovery, empowering them to regain mobility, strength, and confidence while reducing pain and improving their overall function.

Qualifications
  • A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
  • An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia is necessary, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities.
  • Exceptional ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation of treatment plans and outcomes.
  • A strong foundation in the latest physical therapy techniques, supported by evidence-based research, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient clinical setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient care outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
