  • Lead copy development for major brand and product stories, from early concept through final execution
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into clear, differentiated messaging strategies that drive engagement and conversion
  • Bring a strong point of view to creative development, contributing ideas that shape not just what we say, but how campaigns come to life
  • Ensure copy elevates the brand, balancing storytelling with performance and clarity

20%: Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration

  • Lead and mentor copywriters, providing clear direction, actionable feedback, and ongoing development support
  • Establish workflows and standards that improve quality, consistency, and efficiency of copy output
  • Collaborate closely with design, marketing, merchandising, and channel teams to create cohesive, integrated experiences
  • Act as the primary copy voice in cross-functional settings, confidently presenting work and influencing stakeholders

15%: Executional excellence and process optimization

  • Oversee and contribute to copy execution across channels (site, email, app, campaigns), ensuring accuracy and alignment to strategy
  • Maintain and evolve copy guidelines, tools, and documentation to support scalable, high-quality output
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve speed without sacrificing quality

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating elevated brand storytelling, campaign concepting, and multi-channel thinking
  • Proven ability to lead at both the strategic and executional level, shaping messaging frameworks while maintaining a high bar for copy craft
  • Deep understanding of how copy drives impact across digital channels within a cohesive brand ecosystem
  • Strong cross-functional leader with a track record of influencing creative and marketing partners at a senior level
  • Clear, persuasive communicator with the ability to present, defend, and align stakeholders around creative ideas and direction
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization skills and a proactive, self-directed approach
  • Hands-on, solutions-oriented leader who can seamlessly move between concept, execution, and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, balance competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines
  • Commitment to continuously elevating creative quality, team output, and operational processes

Preferred skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in copywriting
  • Experience leading and developing writers, with a clear, supportive, and accountable management style
  • Some basic knowledge of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, though not required
