Are you a strategic content leader who thrives at the intersection of creativity, performance and innovation? Join Ignite Travel Group's Creative & Content team as a Content Specialist and play a key role in shaping the content strategy behind leading travel brands including My Holiday, My Cruises and Explorations by Norwegian.
In this role, you will combine exceptional copywriting expertise with data-driven strategy, SEO/AEO knowledge and AI-enabled innovation to deliver content that drives engagement and business results. Working closely with the Content & Creative Leader, you will influence messaging, campaign direction and content excellence while helping evolve the future of content through emerging technologies and smarter ways of working.
 
A day in the life:
  • Co-lead content strategy by translating business objectives and customer insights into effective content plans and messaging frameworks.
  • Develop audience segmentation approaches and funnel-based content strategies to support customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Lead campaign concepting, creative territories and integrated content ideas across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Apply SEO, AEO and digital performance principles to maximise content visibility and effectiveness.
  • Analyse campaign, website and customer behaviour data to identify opportunities and optimise performance.
  • Champion AI-powered tools, workflows and automation opportunities that improve efficiency while maintaining quality and brand integrity.
  • Deliver high-impact copywriting across campaigns, strategic initiatives and sensitive communications.
  • Review and elevate content quality across the team through coaching, guidance and editorial oversight.
  • Own and enhance tone of voice guidelines, style guides and content frameworks.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Product and Creative teams to create compelling customer communications.
  • Present content strategies, recommendations and creative rationale to senior stakeholders with confidence.
  • Support workflow planning, content prioritisation and resource management across campaigns, projects and BAU activity.
  • Stay informed on content, digital and AI trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign delivery and provide hands-on copywriting support when required.
  • Mentor and develop junior content team members to strengthen strategic thinking, performance literacy and content capability.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.
 
 
Who you are:
  • Extensive experience in content strategy, content marketing or senior copywriting roles.
  • Proven experience managing content professionals and collaborating with Digital Experience specialists.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, SEO, AEO and analytics platforms such as GA4.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights, behavioural data and performance metrics into effective content strategies.
  • Experience developing integrated campaigns and content across multiple channels.
  • Experience analysing campaign, website and customer behaviour data.
  • Passion for innovation, AI technology and workflow optimisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance creativity and commercial outcomes.
  • Highly organised, collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
