As the Copywriter within our Corporate Marketing team, you'll be responsible for bringing Derse's brand, capabilities, and experiences to life through clear, compelling, and brand-aligned storytelling across digital, print, and experiential channels. This role supports Derse's growth strategy by translating approved marketing priorities into high-impact written content that drives awareness, credibility, engagement, and sales effectiveness. Copywriter Responsibilities

  • Translate Derse brand and marketing priorities into clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy for variety of assets, materials, and channels.
  • Support executional programs tied to growth, sales enablement, account-based marketing, and brand evolution
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist, Agency, and Marketing Manager to optimize copy amongst SEO, engagement, conversion, and ABM campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent, differentiated, and credible voice is received across all written touchpoints.
  • Partner with Marketing team to develop creative concepts for variety of initiatives.
  • Contribute to idea generation and narrative development for major marketing moments (tradeshows, launches, events, etc).
  • Lead on campaign framework on behalf of Derse, in relation to brand objectives.
  • Interview subject matter experts, creative leaders, and account teams to develop content.
  • Support content planning by delivering copy aligned to established calendars, briefs, and priorities.
  • Maintain version control and accuracy across all written deliverables.
  • Contribute to internal and external communications, including leadership updates, employee communications, and change-related messaging.
  • Assist with trade media and PR efforts by drafting press releases, award submissions, editorial pitches, and contributing articles.
  • Support video and multimedia initiatives by scripting, storyboarding, and writing narratives for reels, social clips, and experiential storytelling.
  • Support Derse's international marketing needs by adapting content for EU markets and emerging brands within approved framework.
  • Aid in client support by translating complex healthcare, life sciences, and technical information into compliant and engaging narrative
  • Write and edit content to apply into healthcare related RFP's, exhibits, and similar.
  • Ensure content aligns with proper compliance requirements for both internal and client related projects.
Requirements

Copywriter Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field required.
  • 4 -7+ years of relevant copywriting experience in marketing, agency, or experiential environments required.
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating campaign work, long-format content, and concept drafting required.
  • Experience working within a global or U.S Headquartered organization preferred.
  • Knowledge writing for complex or regulated industries (such as; healthcare or technology) preferred.
