Job Title: Marketing Intern

Company: Cos Bar Retail

Location: Corporate – Los Angeles

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

This is an unpaid internship that is eligible for academic credit.
MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
Candidates will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media focus includes:

  • Assist with social media engagement by helping manage Cos Bar’s social channels.

  • Drafting and editing copy for social channels.

  • Monitoring social media web analytics on a weekly basis (e.g. page views, twitter followers), and provide reports of growth and other activity.

  • Provide support to social media efforts

Marketing/advertising focus includes:

  • Engaging with marketing teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns.

  • Assist with gathering data for marketing reports and supporting a variety of marketing and advertising programs.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a corporate office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Work Experience:

Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms.

Strong verbal and written communications skills
