Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD is currently seeking a LVA Copper Installer - Weekend shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
The shift hours are 7:00am - 7:30pm.
Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
The primary function of the LVA Copper Installer is to perform assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of ATS equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
In this function you will:
A. Construct, assemble, and/or repair Layout Copper.
B. Install/Fabricate layout copper to accommodate customer connections.
C. Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
D. Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
E. Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
F. Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Previous experience in copper
Position Criteria:
• Able to lift 35 pounds - waist, shoulder, overhead
• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime - weekdays and weekends
