Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Quality Control Clerk is a key role in ensuring and verifying the order information is correct and ready to be shipped. Success in this position is measured by maintaining and/or surpassing the everyday standards of the ID Logistics client.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday/4:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Compensation: $19.00

Status: Non-Exempt

Essential functions of the job

  • Checks all finished goods ensuring all the information on the pallet is/are correct before it is put away.
  • Order verification (correct SKU, quantity, packaging, and quality)
  • Review of production Bill of Materials to stock utilized.
  • Review production job instructions to actual activities performed by staff (update/modify or suggest changes as necessary)
  • Manage damages.
  • QC inbound and outbound shipments/transfers
  • Attention to detail and able to multitask.
  • Quality checks all pallets or box orders.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to transpose information paper to System spreadsheet or vice versa.
  • Other Job functions or cross training could apply.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Used RF technology.
  • Data entry
  • Excel and Microsoft office

PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED

  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Forklift Experience Minimum 1 year
  • Operational experience preferred
  • Understand SAP & experience working with a variety of WMS
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP Warehouse Management Systems
