Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Staffing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels, supporting nursing schedules, and ensuring smooth daily operations across all units.
Responsibilities for Staffing Coordinator:
  • Ensure the center maintains appropriate staffing levels and adequate nursing coverage at all times.
  • Complete monthly nursing schedules, coordinating staff requests to ensure proper unit coverage.
  • Prepare, complete, and post work schedules and staffing sheets in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate staffing variances and schedule changes with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS).
  • Maintain accurate staffing records and ensure schedules align with operational and regulatory needs.
  • Build strong working relationships with staff to support collaboration and staffing stability.
  • Communicate schedule updates, changes, and staffing needs clearly and professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations.

Qualifications for Staffing Coordinator:
  • Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator, Scheduler, or Payroll support within a nursing center or healthcare setting required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex scheduling needs.
  • Ability to ensure appropriate staffing levels while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Experience coordinating nursing schedules and managing staffing variances preferred.
