Job Summary:

The Materials Coordinator develops and oversees final production schedule for the plant. Monitors and reorders purchased goods based on forecasting and required stock levels. Coordinates inventory and cycle counts and maintains accurate product inventory.ย 


Responsibilities:

Develops and oversees final production schedule for the plant.

Monitors and reorders purchased goods based on forecasting and required stock levels.

Coordinates inventory and cycle counts and maintains accurate product inventory.

Schedules equipment, work cells and jobs based on customer demand and capacity.

Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:ย 

Has an understanding of production process in order to determine raw material needs and logistics.ย 

Strong mathematics and unit conversion skills.ย 

High attention to detail, and ability to multitask.ย 

Is proactive, self-motivated, and has a willingness to learn new things.ย 

Works well in a team setting.

Reliable & trustworthy.

Can maintains interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities in English.ย 

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED.

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, accounting, science, business, communications or other related area.ย 

At least 2 years' experience with production scheduling, ability to troubleshoot scheduling problems and experience writing and utilizing technical formulas and function in Excel.ย 

Previous experience utilizing accounting systems/ ERP systems.ย 

Physical Requirements:ย 

Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping.

Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
