Job description

Front Desk Coordinator

We are hiring a Front Desk Coordinator. You’re  the first person patients see and the one keeping the schedule, the financials, and the day-to day running smoothly behind the scenes. Dental experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right  person. 

What You’ll Own 

  • Patient Experience: Warm, professional check-in and check-out. Friendly, helpful  phone manner. 
  • Scheduling: Build and manage a productive daily schedule for one or more providers.
  • Insurance & Financials: Verify benefits, build breakdowns, present treatment plans,  and collect co-pays accurately. 
  • Communication: Handle calls, confirmations, patient questions, and follow-ups with  confidence. 
  • Front Office Operations: Maintain clean patient records in Open Dental and keep the  office running day-to-day. 

What You Bring 

  • Dental front office experience preferred — but strong customer service experience in  another field works too 
  • Understanding of dental insurance, CDT codes, and benefit breakdowns preferred —  we’ll train if you have the right attitude 
  • Comfort presenting treatment plans to patients clearly and confidently
  • Experience with Open Dental or similar practice management software is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills — you can handle a full schedule and a ringing phone at the  same time 
  • A genuinely friendly, professional presence
