Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Risk Coordinator for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.  The Risk Prevention Coordinator will participate in the management and support of the risk management program at the direction and under the guidance of the Risk Manager. Under the direction of the Risk Manager, the Risk Prevention Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating those systems necessary for identification, evaluation, monitoring, reduction and/or elimination of professional and general liability risk exposures.

 What You Will Do In Your Role:

  • You will be responsible for data management & complex system analysis
  • You will provide claims & program administration
  • You will ensure regulatory compliance
  • You will serve as a member of select committees

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
  • BSN preferred
  • 2 years in clinical risk management preferred
  • 2 years RN experience in an acute care experience required
