MATRIX Camps, Logistics & Aviation is a Canadian service provider specializing in remote camp and workforce solutions across the country. We deliver highquality camp accommodations, catering, aviation, and logistics services to support operations in some of Canada's most challenging environments.   • Assist the 1st Cook with preparing fresh lunch and dinner meals, including scratchmade baked goods and desserts, using seasonal produce when available
  • Support menu planning, grocery ordering, and inventory management to meet resident numbers, preferences, and dietary needs
  • Help maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards through HACCP practices, FIFO rotation, and allergen control
  • Contribute to a positive, safe kitchen environment by supporting staff training, following safe work practices, and working collaboratively as part of the team

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience working as a Cook with strong organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and maintain performance during 10-12 hour shifts
  • Food Safe Handling and WHMIS required; Culinary Diploma or Red Seal preferred; camp experience an asset
