The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome is seeking a Cook to join our team!

*NOW OFFERING SAME-DAY PAY*


Position type: Part-Time

Schedule: 5:00am to 1:00pm

Pay range: $19.01 o $20.27 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation & Service: Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of foods for residents, ensuring high-quality meals.

  • Baking: Bake rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies, following recipes and dietary specifications.

  • Tray Line Service: Work on the tray line during meal service to ensure residents' meals are served efficiently and accurately.

  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean kitchen, including hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans.

Cook Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking.

  • Leadership: Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director.

  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the facility.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods.

  • Team Player: Should be a strong team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation.
