As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available.
You will:
  • Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe
  • Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
  • Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
  • Comply with state sanitation codes
  • Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
  • Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed

You Currently:
  • Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations
