Diamond Grove Center is searching for a skilled and experienced Cook for our Dietary Department.This position will be fulltime, hours will consist of 5:00am-2:00pm, and 11:00pm-7:30pm, and working weekeds occassionally.
Diamond Grove Center is a 85 bed, behavioral psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital. As a Cook you will maintain standard of food preparation and services set by the Dietitian and Dietary Supervisor. Prepare all food for all meals for patients, staff, and special functions, utilize recipes to adjust quantities depending on census, communicate effectively with employees from different departments, respond postively and cooperatively to changing work environment, work professionally, complete all taks and assignments in a timely manner. Cleaning Schedule must be followed by Dietary Supervisor, and perform other duties as assigned/required by this position. Preferred (SERV Safe Food Safety Management Certification).
