Cura of Le Sueur is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Cook to join our team. This position plays an important role in providing quality meals and a positive dining experience for residents in our skilled nursing and long-term care community.
The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing meals according to menus, dietary guidelines, and resident needs while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. We are looking for someone who works well with others, takes pride in their work, and values resident-centered care.
Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary needs
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
  • Assist with meal preparation, serving, portioning, and kitchen cleanup
  • Ensure proper storage, rotation, and labeling of food items
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and leadership
