Line Cook
Opportunity:
The Osthoff Resort, a Four Diamond AAA rated resort, located in beautiful Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is currently seeking a Line Cook. We have separate locations available throughout the resort including Otto's Restaurant, Concourse Restaurant, and our banquet kitchen. The line cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to our restaurant's recipes with high quality and consistency.
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented to the standards set for The Osthoff Resort
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of restaurant standard menus, specials, and 86 items
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Maintain a harmonious work environment
  • Practice clear and effective communication with all kitchen and restaurant team members
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
  • Continuously practice safe food handling techniques
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of dietary needs and its importance to safe food handling
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements:
  • Must have some culinary experience
  • Knowledge of culinary terms and techniques
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are strongly desired
