Dietary Cook Responsibilities:

  • The Dietary Cook cooks and prepares meals when needed.

  • The Dietary Cook plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours; cook supervisor will oversee food production for AM & PM cook.

  • The Dietary Cook follows standard recipes and special diet orders- attends monthly food meeting & follows up on concerns,

  • The Dietary Cook operates standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

  • The Dietary Cook adheres to all sanitation and food production codes.

  • The Dietary Cook cleans and maintains kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
