Job description

Spurwink Services is searching for a part-time cook at our 12-bed, home-like nursing facility in Lewiston. We are a supportive work environment and a great team. Cooking experience required with cooking in a healthcare environment preferred. Must be able to cook home style meals. Cleaning and organization skills required. Schedule is 12p-6p twice a week and every other weekend 5a-1:30p. Weekend hours include a $2 pay differential.
DUTIES:
  • Cook meals following therapeutic menus.
  • Food prep.
  • Must have knowledge of sanitation/safe food handling practices.
  • Maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to work every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required. Must have cooking experience, two years preferred. Cooking experience in long term care preferred.
