Department: Back of House (BOH)                                                          Reports To: Sous Chef > Executive Chef
Location: North Scottsdale                                                                        Pay: $18.00+ / hour
Job Summary

BOH Porters are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall flow of the kitchen. This role supports all BOH positions by ensuring workspaces, equipment, and storage areas are clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times.
Primary Focus

● Kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
● Supporting cooks and chefs through efficient back-of-house operations.
● Ensuring health and safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities

● Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, drains, and work surfaces.
● Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
● Remove trash, recycling, and compost regularly and properly.
● Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing storage areas.
● Keep dish, prep, and storage areas organized and stocked.
● Support BOH team with restocking, breakdown, and deep cleaning tasks.
● Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
Skills & Qualifications

● Prior BOH or porter/dish experience preferred but not required.
● Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness and detail.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Must have (or obtain) a current Arizona Food Handlers Card.
● Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
