Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Food Server role located in Edmond, OK. The Food Server will greet guests, present menus, answer questions about dishes, and provide recommendations that reflect the restaurant’s authentic Indian and Pakistani offerings. Daily responsibilities include taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring tables and service areas remain clean and organized. The Food Server will process payments, manage basic POS transactions, and help with buffet setups or catering service as needed. The role requires maintaining high standards of customer service, food safety, and hygiene while contributing to a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication abilities.
- Experience or familiarity with Food & Beverage and Food Service operations in a restaurant setting.
- Basic Cooking knowledge or interest in Indian and Pakistani cuisine is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and work efficiently during busy service hours.
- Reliable time management, attention to cleanliness, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, including during special events or buffets.
