Job Summary
Under general supervision from the Food Service Manager, Cook/Manager or
site administrator, the Food Service Server maintains food service facilities in a
clean and orderly condition; sets up and cleans up the serving area, food,
equipment and supplies; serve food to students. Supervises students
participating in school nutrition programs; may assist school personnel with minor
clerical duties related to the school nutrition program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Pre-employment physical required upon hire
Some positions in this class may require possession of a valid California
driver's license.
Desirable:
Prior experience in a food service facility.
Serve Safe Certification
This position is part of the Classified Employee Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience on the Classified Employee Salary schedule on Range 13.

The Mariposa County Unified School District is located in Mariposa County and serves grades K-12. With approximately 1,700 students, the area consists of several necessary small schools, K-8 schools, and one comprehensive high school.
Mariposa County has several rural communities that surround Yosemite National Park and are centrally located in California to provide a day's drive to old-growth forests, deserts, coastal communities, and cities.
