Key ResponsibilitiesWhat does a successful Cook look like?

As a Cook / Line Cook, you will:

Food Preparation
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Boston Pizza recipes and standards.
  • Ensure every dish is prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently.
  • Maintain excellent food presentation and portion control.
  • Follow recipe specifications and cooking procedures at all times.
Kitchen Operations
  • Set up and stock workstations before each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout your station.
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing inventory using proper food handling procedures.
Food Safety & Cleanliness
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and WHMIS guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food products.
  • Assist with daily and closing cleaning duties.
Teamwork
  • Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen team members.
  • Communicate effectively with Managers and Front of House staff.
  • Support teammates during busy service periods.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace culture.

  • Food Handler Certification is considered an asset (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
