Summary:

Demonstrates commitment of service excellence to help customers to feel welcomed, understood, important, and assured. Provides excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors. Responsible for multi-line phone calls and providing customer service to customers present in department, occurring simultaneously. Responsible for processing requests for release of protected health information (PHI) as defined by State and Federal laws. Responsible for the integrity of the patients Radiology Medical Record. Responsible for the integrity and organization of the Image Library. Assists in training new employees.
Education and Experience:

  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year Hospital Radiology.
  • Image Library and Release of Health Information experience preferred.
  • Computer experience with 40-50 wpm typing skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Certification/Licensure:

  • CPR - Family and Friends within 30 days of hire.
