Job description

The Archway is seeking a Full-Time Cook.
This position prepares and cooks meals for residents and employees of our agency.  Ensures safety and cleanliness of the kitchen and related areas.  The position has significant responsibilities in line with preparing agency meals.  Develop and post weekly menus in accordance with federal and state funding guidelines.  Maintains production records of items and amounts of food used in compliance with Special Nutrition Program standards. Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen in compliance with public health standards.

The specific qualifications for this role are: 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must be willing to work at additional locations when requested. 
  • Current Food Handlers Certification (health card) required. Food Manager’s License required or must be able to obtain within the first 6 months of employment. Maintenance of the Food Manager’s License will be required once obtained.
