Job description

Company: VersaDesk
Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About VersaDesk

VersaDesk is a U.S.-based, made-in-America office furniture manufacturer on a mission to become the leading alternative to legacy office furniture giants. With four best-in-class product lines — including our signature standing desks, the WorkNest Cubicle System, the Foundry Series, and our newly launched Studio Mobile Office line — VersaDesk combines domestic manufacturing, a lifetime warranty, and a growing IP portfolio to compete at the highest level of the industry.

We sell direct-to-consumer and B2B, hold a long-standing GSA contract serving federal, military, and institutional clients, and operate one of the best-in-class dealer networks in the space. Our WorkNest Cubicle System is actively disrupting the traditional cubicle category, and we are entering a phase of accelerated growth across every channel we operate in.

We are a lean, hands-on leadership team — and we're looking for an operator who wants to build, not just manage.

The Opportunity

VersaDesk is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to scale the business alongside our CEO as we expand market share, deepen our dealer network, and grow our omnichannel footprint. This is a rare opportunity to join a profitable, category-disrupting manufacturer at an inflection point — with a clear, near-term path to CEO for the right leader.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role.

What You’ll Own:
  • Drive company-wide operational strategy and execution across sales, e-commerce, marketing, accounting, and production
  • Scale infrastructure, systems, and headcount to meet accelerating market demand without sacrificing margin or quality
  • Strengthen and expand our omnichannel presence across DTC, B2B, dealer networks, and government/institutional channels
  • Own operational rigor around cash flow, production planning, and supply chain as the company scales
  • Partner directly with the CEO on org design, performance management, and long-term growth strategy
  • Bring structure and scalable process to a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organization
What You Bring
  • A proven track record scaling midsize companies (mid 9 figures + revenue range) in total revenue across DTC & B2B space
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of omnichannel operations — DTC, e-commerce, wholesale/dealer, and institutional/government sales
  • Experience operating in branded, consumer-facing product companies (furniture, home goods, or durable consumer goods strongly preferred)
  • A builder's mentality — comfortable in a lean organization where leaders are still close to the details
  • Strong financial and operational fluency: P&L ownership, cash flow management, production and inventory planning
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through growth inflection points, ideally with experience preparing a company for its next phase
