Join Amcor as a Manufacturing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our production operations across Press, Extrusion, or Converting. In this hands-on position, you'll assist operators, prepare materials, monitor equipment, and help ensure our products meet safety and quality standards. You'll be part of a collaborative, team-driven environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Schedule Options:
  • 12-hour 2-2-3 Nights (6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.) or (7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)

What you'll do:
  • Assist operators with set-up, operation, and monitoring of press, extrusion, or converting equipment

  • Prepare, load, and stage raw materials, rolls, inks, cartons, and supplies needed for continuous production

  • Transport materials using hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment

  • Remove finished rolls, pallets, or waste and stage for the next step in the process

  • Inspect materials and running product for defects and report quality issues

  • Perform roll changes, ink changes, and material changeovers as directed

  • Record production data, weights, and complete required documentation

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP, AIB, and food safety standards

  • Assist with housekeeping, waste handling, and recycling activities

  • Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts

  • Follow all safety, PPE, lockout/tagout, and company policies

  • Assist other team members and departments as needed

Preferred qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required

  • Basic math and measuring skills

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
