Job description

Treatment Coordinator โ€“ Consultative SalesAbout Leland Orthodontics

Leland Orthodontics is a rapidly growing, relationship-driven orthodontic practice committed to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience. Our growth is intentional, our culture is strong, and our expectations are high.

We believe every consultation is an opportunity to build trust, clearly communicate value, and help someone confidently take the next step toward a life-changing smile.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Treatment Coordinator who thrives on building relationships, earning trust, and winning the conversion.

This is a consultative sales role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, identifying what matters to them, overcoming hesitation, and confidently asking for the commitment. Your primary goal will be to convert new-patient consultations into treatment startsโ€”ideally on the same day the treatment plan is presented.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead engaging, personalized new-patient consultations
  • Build trust and identify each patientโ€™s goals, concerns, and decision-making needs
  • Clearly communicate the clinical and personal value of orthodontic treatment
  • Present treatment recommendations and financial options with confidence
  • Ask for the commitment and guide patients toward beginning treatment the same day
  • Address questions and concerns professionally without creating a high-pressure experience
  • Accurately complete contracts, financial arrangements, and required documentation
  • Coordinate each patientโ€™s transition from consultation to active treatment
  • Prepare and issue referrals as needed
  • Consistently follow up with pending patients to answer questions, resolve barriers, and earn the treatment start
  • Maintain accurate tracking sheets, checklists, paperwork, and patient records
  • Monitor and respond promptly to email, text messages, and other daily correspondence
  • Track personal performance and take ownership of conversion results
  • Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to provide a seamless patient experience
The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who:

  • Is energized by goals, measurable results, and the opportunity to win
  • Finds genuine satisfaction in turning a thoughtful conversation into a confident โ€œyesโ€
  • Uses a consultative approach to understand needs and recommend the right solution
  • Builds rapport quickly and communicates with warmth, confidence, and credibility
  • Is comfortable discussing significant financial investments
  • Can ask directly and professionally for commitment
  • Follows up consistently and does not allow strong opportunities to fall through the cracks
  • Views objections as opportunities to listen, educate, and problem-solve
  • Is competitive with yourself and motivated to continually improve
  • Takes full ownership of both outcomes and patient experience
  • Maintains exceptional accuracy, even in a fast-paced environment
  • Notices small details and completes every process thoroughly
  • Is organized, process-driven, and reliable
  • Remains composed and professional under pressure
  • Responds well to coaching, accountability, and performance expectations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven success in consultative, relationship-based, or high-ticket sales
  • Dental or orthodontic experience
  • Experience working toward conversion goals or performance metrics
  • Strong administrative and documentation skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Compensation

Estimated annual compensation: $65,000โ€“$90,000, consisting of hourly pay plus performance-based bonuses.

This position offers meaningful earning potential for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to achieve strong conversion results. Opportunities are available for continued advancement, professional growth, and increased compensation.
