Job description

La Rocca Security Solutions is seeking an experienced BAS/BMS Controls Technician to join our growing team in the Houston/Katy, Texas area.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), HVAC controls, DDC controls, system programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and help support the growth of our Building Automation division.

Preferred experience includes:

  • BAS/BMS and DDC control systems
  • HVAC controls
  • BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP
  • Modbus
  • Tridium Niagara N4
  • Programming and configuring controllers
  • System startup and commissioning
  • Troubleshooting controls and communication issues
  • Reading electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Control wiring, sensors, actuators, VAVs, AHUs and RTUs
  • Experience with platforms such as Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or similar
  • Low-voltage and networking knowledge

Experience: 3+ years of BAS/BMS experience preferred.
