What You'll Do:
โ€ข Develop and standardize controls hardware design practices across multiple manufacturing facilities
โ€ข Review electrical drawings, control panel designs, and hardware selections before projects are executed
โ€ข Create and improve engineering standards, documentation, and approval processes
โ€ข Work closely with plant engineering, implementation, R&D, and contract engineering teams
โ€ข Travel to manufacturing sites to support projects and design reviews
โ€ข Serve as the technical authority for controls hardware and electrical system design
What They're Looking For
โ€ข 5+ years of industrial controls or electrical engineering experience
โ€ข Strong AutoCAD experience
โ€ข Hands-on experience designing industrial control panels and electrical control systems
โ€ข Experience creating or reviewing electrical schematics
โ€ข Experience standardizing and designing hardware for siemens control systems (I.E. s7-1500, s120, G120 Etc.)
โ€ข Strong understanding of controls hardware, electrical design, and industrial manufacturing environments
Preferred Experience:
โ€ข Siemens controls hardware (S7-1500, G120, S120)
โ€ข Industrial power distribution
โ€ข Hardware standardization
โ€ข Brownfield manufacturing projects
โ€ข Multi-site manufacturing support
Why This Role Stands Out:
This position offers the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
You'll have the opportunity to establish engineering standards, improve review processes, and become the go-to resource for controls hardware across multiple manufacturing facilities.
If you're looking to move into a role where you can influence engineering decisions across an entire organization, this is a unique opportunity to do exactly that.
