Job description

Reports To: Director, Product Development

Located In: Tulsa, OK

Cooperates With: Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Field Service & Operations

Brief Description: Responsible for development and integration of control systems solutions utilized by numerous products in the MIRATECH catalog. These products include integrated mechanical, electrical, and chemical systems which reduce harmful emissions from stationary pollution sources. This role supports the planning and execution necessary to develop, validate, launch, and support products for this market space.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and validate code and visualizations for various control systems (PLC, HMI, and embedded)
  • Work strategically with key suppliers to select and integrate new or replacement hardware and instrumentation
  • Engage with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales to provide superior products and customer experiences
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, and Field Services on change management
  • Ensure projects are executed accurately, completely, and timely
  • Stay informed on industry advancements to identify product development and revenue opportunities
  • Model and champion the MIRATECH Mindset in ways that center team culture on these values
  • Abide by and promote MIRATECH's EHS policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of experience with a strong background in controls and systems integration
  • Knowledge of various codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, ISO, ISA, UL, and ATEX)
  • Experience with industrial networks and protocols (e.g. Modbus TCP/RTU, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.)
  • Proficient with design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated individual who is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and ethical
  • Willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek guidance through open dialogue
  • Excellent communication skills including interpreting and communicating technical information
  • Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed
  • Ability to generate alternative solutions

Working Conditions:

  • Will be exposed to confidential information
  • Travel may be required to support site commissioning, troubleshooting, or field validation (≤ 25% expected)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to produce high caliber deliverables in a short time frame
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in engineering teams and manufacturing teams
