What will you do in your role?
As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will be working with our retail locations and Home Office teams to review missing inventory to determine how loss occurred, research missing inventory trends, work with internal departments on theft incidents and more. Additionally, you will be part of a team that is responsible for helping prevent loss and shrink on Russell Cellular's top assets. You are a part of a loss prevention team that is critical to the bottom line of our locations.

Job Responsibilities
The items listed below include a basic description of what the Asset Protection Specialist will be doing on a day-to-day basis, but is not limited to these items:
  • Point of contact for missing device investigations in stores
  • Responsible for missing device investigation for the inventory held at the Home Office
  • Investigate, log, and resolve theft, both internal and external, and violations of Russell Cellular policy related to inventory loss
  • Collaborate with other departments to report or investigate existing and potential theft instances
  • Maintain documentation and reports on inventory related incidents and investigations
  • Develop and implement controls, along with loss prevention strategies, to reduce risk exposure

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Experience with loss prevention & inventory control preferred
  • 1-year experience working with virtual inventory preferred
  • 1-year experience working with physical inventory preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Effective phone and email communication with colleagues
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company products and services
  • Maintain asset protection processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon Wireless policies and procedures
  • Able to work within a structured team environment
  • Able to work independently and multi-task in order to achieve Home Office goals
  • Able to work effectively with others
  • Able to work as part of a dynamic team and be flexible
  • Positive attitude and pleasant demeanor
  • Professional appearance
