Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, modification, and repair of piping systems in commercial and industrial environments, including HVAC and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Select appropriate pipe types and sizes based on job specifications
  • Inspect worksites to identify obstructions and ensure structural integrity
  • Plan installation sequences to avoid conflicts with other trades
  • Assemble and install metal and non-metal piping systems, including brass, copper, lead, glass, and plastic
  • Join piping using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints
  • Secure piping systems using clamps, brackets, and hangers
  • Install and maintain refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including compressors, pumps, meters, and controls
  • Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and diagnostic tools
  • Perform welding as required for system installation

Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial pipefitting or HVAC/mechanical systems
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Skilled in cutting, bending, welding, and assembling piping systems
  • Strong understanding of piping codes and installation standards
  • Ability to visualize three-dimensional layouts from plans and specifications
  • Comfortable working within precise limits and standards of accuracy
  • Must have a valid driver's license
