Data Center Project Engineer Controls SCADA

Montgomery, AL | On‑site | Contract‑to‑hire

Large‑scale data center program is seeking a mid‑level Project Engineer specializing in SCADA, HMI development, and control network architecture. Facilities include 30+ PLCs and multiple SCADA servers, requiring strong technical ownership and client‑facing confidence.

What you’ll do
  • Design, document, and support control network architecture for multi‑PLC, multi‑server facilities
  • Own SCADA/HMI graphics development and issue resolution on Ignition and AVEVA System Platform
  • Maintain consistency and reliability by adhering to established company and client standards
  • Troubleshoot escalated graphics, communications, and SCADA performance issues
  • Interface directly with the client and manage deliverables with limited daily direction
What we’re looking for
  • 5–10 years of controls experience with specialization in SCADA/HMI platforms
