The Opportunity

Take Your Career Further - As a Team Lead - Senior Cost Controller, you will strengthen project controls practices and ensure robust cost monitoring and performance management. You will oversee cost control across multiple mandates while leading a team of professionals, directly contributing to impactful projects for our clients and the communities we serve.


Your Impact 

As a Cost Controller:

  • Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure the financial health of projects

  • Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions to optimize performance

  • Apply Earned Value Management EVM principles to support decision-making

  • Ensure rigorous tracking of project performance in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Manage changes and their financial impacts throughout the project lifecycle

  • Ensure compliance with processes, policies and contractual requirements

As a Team Lead:

  • Lead, engage and develop a cost control team

  • Allocate resources across projects

  • Ensure the quality of deliverables

  • Review and approve outputs

  • Participate in recruitment

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence


The skills that set you apart

  • University degree, bachelor's in engineering, finance, project management or a related field

  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in cost control within complex engineering project environments

  • Proven expertise in Earned Value Management EVM and project financial control

  • Demonstrated experience in team management and development

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments

  • Knowledge of AACE and PMI frameworks and certifications strong asset

  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills

  • Bilingualism is an asset as the individual will frequently be involved in projects with English-speaking clients and partners outside Quebec

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $122 900 - 162 800

MB & ON: $112 100 - 154 400

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111 000 - 147 400
