The Controller plays a crucial role in managing the company’s financial health by overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and cash flow. Working within a small team of 1-3 members and reporting directly to the CEO or President, the Controller ensures accurate monthly financial reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making. The role involves using both specialized controlling tools and manual processes, with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and oversee monthly financial reporting cycles
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Manage corporate deadlines calendar for expenses: taxes, property taxes, licenses, operating expenses, etc.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in financial controlling
