Job description

Under minimal supervision, perform advanced set ups and operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to manufacture metallic and non-metallic parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following however, other duties may apply.)
  • Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Proficient at reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials.
  • Proficient understanding of measuring instruments.
  • Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Ability to power on, perform advanced set ups (complex parts or new programs) and operate CNC lathes or mills with minimal assistance.
  • Must be proficient with FANUC controls.
  • Must have ability to recognize, understand and properly use cutting tools.
  • Properly identifies use of inserts, grades, chip formers, fixtures and tooling.
  • Understands and has the ability to perform geometry & tool wear offsets and program edits including tool path changes when necessary to improve the program and maintain blueprint dimensions.
  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
  • Proficient at understanding and have the ability to follow all manufacturing processes and procedures with the ability to train or coach co-workers on these processes.
  • Utilizes and abides by all ISO requirements and safety procedures.
  • Is flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant.

Employee/applicants who receive offers of employment will be tested for controlled substances as a pre-condition for employment. The sample collection and testing will be for controlled substances. A positive test result for controlled substances will render an applicant disqualified for employment.
Negative and positive results will be reported to CSJB Holdings, Inc. If the results are positive, the controlled substance will be identified. The results will not be released to any other parties without an applicant's written authorization.
CSJB Holdings, Inc. will investigate applicants background and qualifications for purposes of evaluating whether an applicant is qualified for the position for which they are applying.
CSJB Holdings, Inc. will utilize an outside firm or firms to assist it in checking such information, and applicants specifically authorize such an investigation by information services and outside entities of the company's choice. Applicants may withhold their permission and that in such a case, no investigation will be done, and their application for employment will not be processed further.
