preventative maintenance. Multiple locations and a team of traveling technicians
enable us to serve customers nationwide. With 20 years of experience and an
unparalleled reputation, All Systems Electrical tackles projects for some of the

As a multi-branch electrical contractor, All Systems Electrical is a fast-paced
work environment. We are seeking a Controller to oversee all financial operations,
internal controls, risk management, regional fleet logistics, tool tracking, and
multi-location inventory systems. This senior role is an essential part of company
management, especially as our company undergoes significant growth. This role
manages cash flow, precise job-cost accounting for complex electrical
installations, corporate asset allocations, bonding, and financial reporting to
executive leadership across branches.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage the general ledger
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Payroll
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Multi-Branch Inventory & Tool Tracking:

  • Oversee inventory tracking systems for raw materials, bulk wire, conduit, and specialized electrical equipment across job locations and warehouses.
  • Establish protocols for tool tracking software to monitor heavy equipment, field tools, and diagnostic gear, minimizing loss and optimizing asset utilization.

Fleet Management:

  • Track vehicle acquisition, leasing agreements, fuel cards, maintenance expenses, and insurance costs.
  • Monitor fleet asset depreciation and analyze the total cost of ownership to optimize company profitability.

Job Cost Accounting:

  • Track labor, material, and equipment costs for active electrical projects.
  • Analyze gross profit margins, change orders, and work-in-progress (WIP) schedules.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with state contractor licensing laws, DOT regulations for fleet vehicles, prevailing wage rules, certified payroll, union requirements, and tax regulations.
  • Manage commercial liability insurance and subcontractor agreements.

Cash Flow & Bonding:

  • Monitor cash flow to support heavy material purchasing, fleet upkeep, and regional payroll.
  • Maintain relationships with bonding agents, banks, and external auditors.

Strategic Planning:

  • Partner with executive management to set budgets, forecast revenue, and evaluate company profitability by branch, department, or project type.
Qualifications Skills

Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in construction or trade-contractor role with working knowledge of job-cost accounting methods.
