Job description

Seeking a Real Estate/Construction Controller in the LA area. Must have Real estate investment -Commercial, Multi-family, Yardi and Construction for consideration!! Must also be accurate, adaptable and have well-rounded knowledge in all the areas listed. Solid benefits package and generous base offered! No relocation is offered. Apply now for consideration!

Duties: 

  • Overseeing all matters related to accounting including the month-end close, and preparation of monthly financial reporting
  • Job costing and Percent Completion Analysis (WIP)
  • Manage cash and treasury functions
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and related processes
  • Prepare statutory filings
  • Work with the outside CPA to prepare audited financial statements and tax returns
  • Special projects and assistance with strategic planning
  • Manage Human Resource Function


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Construction Experience Required
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Collaborative team player with positive attitude
  • Must know office commercial, multi residential, construction accounting
  • Exceptional Yardi knowledge
