About the Role:

You will oversee inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, and value-adding servicing to ensure seamless warehouse operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

In this role, you will:
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure adherence to safety policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Understand the financial impact of your decisions to help you align your actions with the overall company objectives to increase the company's market share.
  • Plan labor, monitor performance, and lead the warehouse team with a positive, problem-solving attitude, focusing on innovation and results.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order accuracy, shipping time, and inventory turnover, to ensure quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to increase warehouse utilization.
  • Ensure proper utilization of all company assets, coordinating repairs as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive operational productivity by controlling labor costs, including overtime and staffing levels, while challenging the team.
  • Partner with HR to execute human resource functions, including recruiting, hiring, motivating, and disciplining employees.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team performance to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Support employee development through cross-training and hands-on learning opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
  • Warehouse Operations and Distribution Management: 5 years
  • E-commerce: 5 years
  • HR Policies and Regulations: 5 years
  • Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience: 5 years
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheets.
