REV Entertainment, the exclusive events company of the Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field, and Choctaw Stadium, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to oversee and manage the organization's financial operations. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting and finance, coupled with a proven leadership in compliance, reporting and internal controls. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial processes while supporting the company's continued growth. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Manage and oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting across multiple entities.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and implement new accounting policies and procedures as required and approve.
  • Assist with treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships and liquidity planning.
  • Lead and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
  • Supervise staff accountants, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to support strategic decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, including at least 2-3 years in a Controller role.
  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or consumer-faced industries is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting software systems required.
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close activities and financial statement preparation.
  • Familiarity with auditing practices and budget management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented professional.
  • Professional presentation, appearance, and strong work ethic.
