What You’ll Do as a Controller  / Key Responsibilities

As our Corporate Controller, you will serve as a high-level, competent accounting professional keeping a pulse on our revenue stream. In this role, you will act as our premier corporate Financial Manager, ensuring the total accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financial statements.

  • Coordinate month-end closing cycles, manage the general ledger, and post journal entries with a relentless target of zero variance.

  • Direct regulatory reporting, corporate sales tax across multiple jurisdictions, and monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Lead our team through annual audits seamlessly, acting as our primary point of contact for external auditors.

  • Partner closely with the CFO and executive leaders, operating as an active Director of Accounting by producing custom ad-hoc financial insights and reports.

  • Utilize and optimize financial software platforms daily, including NetSuite, Dayforce, and Adaptive.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Master's degree or CPA designation is a strong plus).

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the accounting field, featuring at least 2 years in public accounting or operating as a controller for a similar-sized, labor-primary service organization.

  • Tech Savvy: Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with robust financial systems (NetSuite, Dayforce, or Salesforce preferred).
