Controller - Skilled Nursing Facilities
Located in Woodbury, NY

Salary Range $125K - $150K

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans

  • Monitor the financial performance of the company

  • Compile and analyze monthly financial reporting packages

  • Communicate financial metrics to senior management

  • Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments

  • Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel

Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum of 2 years of experience as a Controller in a nursing home setting

  • BA in Accounting or Finance required

  • Must have long term care/nursing home experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role with proven track record and processes to organize, implement, and manage entire company accounting process

  • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Advanced computer skills; Computer knowledge and ability with aptitude to learn applicable software
