Job description

  • Review and complete assigned monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, with emphasis on payroll-related and casino-related accounts
  • Prepare adjusting monthly journal entries, for review and posting by Financial or Gaming Controller.
  • Prepare assigned recurring monthly journal entries by monthly close deadlines for review and posting by Financial Controller or Assistant Controller- Finance.
  • Work closely with Casino Controllers to ensure accuracy of entries recorded to assigned gaming-related balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assist with daily banking tasks.
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Prepare financial management reports, as assigned.
  • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
  • Review the current procedures/practices and recommend areas for process improvement.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Safeguard and track company assets.
