What's in it for you:
The Systems Engineer role is a high-profile position with overall technical responsibility for developing high quality controls and software products. They will work to define system designs, interfaces, and architectures for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) embedded controllers, user interfaces, tools, and digital offerings. In addition, they effectively communicate technical direction to senior management and functional teams that span all engineering disciplines, as well as product management, sales, quality, supply chain, and operations.

What you will do:
  • Provide overall technical leadership for new product development projects.
  • Participate in all phases of the product development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test.
  • Establish system architecture and perform system level design and decomposition into requirements.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between possible solution approaches.
  • Perform system analysis and interface definition.
  • Perform system and performance test planning and execution.
  • Lead design reviews and technical project reviews.
  • Participate in failure investigation and resolution.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in an Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years experience supporting system and subsystem product designs, validation testing, and root cause analysis.
  • Proven success in helping conduct new technology and new product development projects to improve the function, reliability, or cost of products and components.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teams, especially with geographically dispersed teams, in a consensus-orientated team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
