As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Meriden, CT

What's the Job?

  • Providing engineering leadership to support manufacturing systems at the Meriden plant
  • Supporting legacy manufacturing systems and implementing innovative improvements
  • Collaborating with teams to accelerate the deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Offering technical expertise and problem-solving support to site resources
  • Supporting system migrations and programming tasks using VB6 / VB.NET

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited university
  • At least three (3) years of Systems Engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Proficiency in VB6 / VB.NET programming and application migration with MS Visual Studio
  • Strong database skills with SQL scripts and stored procedures
  • Experience with Wonderware (AVEVA) Historian, InTouch, or MES systems
