IDES is seeking a highly motivated control systems engineer with programming experience to join our manufacturing team. IDES is a licensed engineering firm providing engineering services in the following 9 core areas:
  • Process Automation
  • Control System Design and Integration
  • Mechanical Design and Integration
  • Information Systems
  • Automation and Robotic Systems
  • Automated Guided Vehicle Systems (AGV)
  • Autonomous Mobile Robot Systems (AMR)
  • Embedded Software Development
  • Product Development & Prototype Services
Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product
  • Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
  • Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations
  • Design automation machine components
  • Develop control systems
  • Develop PLC programs and embedded software
  • Develop and test complex algorithms
  • Deploy solutions and troubleshoot issues onsite
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
